The Lantern’s inventory is an eclectic treasure-trove of hardbacks, paperbacks, postcards, maps, and vinyl as well as compact discs. On our shelves, you’re just as likely to find something classic as something popular.
All our staff are volunteers. All of our books, prints, and other media are donated (we also have College-related items for sale). All our profits support scholarships at Bryn Mawr College.
Since 1977, the Lantern Bookshop has raised more than $730,000 to help women attend Bryn Mawr College. Currently, proceeds fund summer internships, which are important to students as they discern their courses of study as well as future career paths.
