Holiday Gifting
We are introducing a new way to support The Lantern Bookstore during the holidays and COVID shutdown while also distributing books to the ill, the needy, and the homeless in our neighborhoods. Please donate whatever amount, no matter how small, and we will use the proceeds to send books to the following in order to spread lights of learning to:
- American Red Cross at Walter Reed National Military Medical Center
- Martha’s Table
- Salvation Army Family Store Hyattsville MD
- Christ House

In-Kind Donations
The Lantern also welcomes certain in-kind donations other than books! Our current wish list is below. If you have items like this that can improve the shop’s infrastructure, please email us at info@lanternbookshop.org, and a staff member will get back to you as soon as possible!
Please do not bring items to the Lantern without checking with us first – storage space is tight!
