Our Volunteers

- All of our staff are volunteers who give a few hours or days a month to keep the store open!
- Most are alumnae of Bryn Mawr College, but not all! Our volunteers also include alumnae of other colleges and universities, and several high school and Georgetown students.
- All of us love books. If you love books too, find out how you can become a volunteer!
How to Volunteer
- Lantern volunteers work anywhere from 1-2 days a week to a 1-2 shifts a month. We are very flexible.
- Volunteers must work 4 shifts a year, and be able to access email on a consistent basis.
- To find out more, come in to the shop, chat with a staff member about the nature of the work and the schedule, and leave your name and email address for us to follow up.
